Holistic Health House uses an appointment system to minimise waiting times. Making an appointment does not necessarily mean that you will be seen at that time. However, if you want to be seen as a private patient, you will be seen at your appointment time. Patients who 'walk in' without an appointment will be charged $30 to see Dr Nimi. Please ring 9359 0655 for an appointment. Please note that we are not an emergency service - if you have an emergency, please call the ambulance or get to a hospital where they will be better equipped to help you. We aim to make your stay at the surgery as pleasant as possible. You can watch the television, read the up-to-date magazines or simply relax in the homely atmosphere of the waiting room. Furthermore, there is a kids' play area for the little ones to enjoy.
All of the staff at Holistic Health House are dedicated in providing you with
a friendly health care service. The surgery is comprised of one doctor -
Doctor Nimi Boyapati - and two main secretarial staff.
A manager and the webmaster complete the staff list.
Here at Holistic Health House, we believe in providing patients with as much choice as possible. As in any medical surgery, bulk billed patients usually have waiting periods before they are seen. However, we provide a service for 'private patients' who cannot afford to or are not able to wait. Thus, we have two types of patients: bulk billed and private. Private patients are charged $20 on entry as a gap or copayment. You will not be charged anything further after you have paid this $20 for the consultation. As a private patient, you will be seen at your appointment time. This ensures that we minimise your waiting time. Bulk billed patients are charged nothing. However, you may have to wait and be seen after private patients. Please do not forget to bring a valid medicare card to the surgery and present it to the receptionist when asked (this applies to both bulk billed and private patients). Updates about fees will be posted around the waiting room. Please inform the receptionist if you would like to be seen as a private patient when you call so they can adjust your appointment entry accordingly.
